Building Toward The First $100,000 Championship Pool™

Opal Icon is built to give creators more than one path to victory. Each season crowns eight Genre Champions™, then advances them into the Championship Finals where one creator earns the title of Opal Icon Champion™.
The award examples below are based on a $100,000 Championship Pool scenario. Actual award amounts may increase or decrease based on the final Championship Pool for the season.
The highest-ranked creator of the season and the overall championship winner.
One champion is crowned in each official genre and advances to the Championship Finals.
Awarded to the second-highest ranked finalist in the Championship Finals.
Awarded to the third-highest ranked finalist in the Championship Finals.
Reserved for fan recognition, IconMaker awards, fan predictor awards, community honors, and special seasonal awards.
Detailed Allocation
The $100,000 Championship Pool example is allocated as follows: $48,000 total across eight Genre Champions™ at $6,000 each, $25,000 to the Opal Icon Champion™, $15,000 to the Championship Runner-Up, $10,000 to the Third Place Finalist, and $2,000 toward Community & IconMaker Awards.
Prize awards are based on the final Championship Pool for each season. The examples shown reflect a $100,000 Championship Pool scenario. Final award amounts are confirmed after the season closes, eligibility is verified, and winners are officially certified by Opal Icon.
All prize recipients must comply with Opal Icon rules, complete any required identity verification, provide required tax documentation, and be legally eligible to receive awards in their jurisdiction. Failure to satisfy eligibility requirements may result in forfeiture of awards.
Winning a competition, badge, title, ranking, or cash prize does not grant ownership, equity, royalties, licensing rights, control, or revenue participation in Opal Icon unless provided through a separate written agreement.
Each season consists of eight (8) official music genres.
At the conclusion of each season, one Genre Champion will be selected from each genre based on the official Opal Icon scoring system.
Genre Champions advance to the Championship Finals.
The eight (8) Genre Champions compete for the title of OPAL ICON CHAMPION™.
The Opal Icon Champion is the highest-ranked creator of the season and is recognized as the overall winner of the Championship.
All prize recipients must:
- Comply with all platform rules
- Complete identity verification if requested
- Provide any required tax documentation
- Be legally eligible to receive awards in their jurisdiction
Failure to satisfy eligibility requirements may result in forfeiture of awards.
Awards may be paid by electronic transfer, ACH, wire transfer, check, digital payment service, or any other method determined by Opal Icon.
Payment processing may require verification and may take up to ninety (90) days following official winner confirmation.
